Club ACTS originated in the heart of Church of ACTS Sr. Pastor Bill Jenkins, in Indianapolis, Ind. Pastor Bill realized that we were telling students what they should not do but not providing a safe alternative. So God birthed Club ACTS in August of 2003

Club ACTS was first started in a warehouse building on Werges Ave. with a few pool tables and video games. The first night of Club ACTS drew 75 youth, quickly growing to hundreds of teens every Friday night.

Club activities include a D.J., MC, non-violent rap music, hip hop and contemporary Christian rock music, pool tables, foosball tables, arcade and video games including Playstations and Xbox 360, ping-pong tables, 3-on-3 basketball, volleyball, food, fun and much, much more. Each week we also present a 15-minute positive message through drama, dance and computerized technology.

Core Beliefs

• Senior High and Junior High students are important to God. (1 Timothy 4:12)
• Teenage years are a crucial time of decision making; 85% of people who become Christians do so before the age of 21.
• Spirit of excellence and high standards are essential to youth ministry. We must be connected to teens. They do not want to be connected to a ministry that is outdated and irrelevant.
• All of our programs must fit into the mission statement of the Church of ACTS ministry.
• The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
• One God existing in three persons: namely, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.
• We must repent of our sins, believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, to receive eternal salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
• Water baptism by immersion, and that it is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.
• Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
• The gifts of the Spirit are for the body of Christ today, such as tongues, miracles, healings, etc.
• Deliverance from any demonic strongholds through the power of Jesus Christ.
• God has a plan for your life and wants to use us for building and establishing His Kingdom.

Club ACTS Team

God has brought a team of 35 volunteers who faithfully give their Friday nights up, and work together to serve the youth of the Marion county area at Club ACTS.
